Engines Silniki

RT-Flex - Intelligent engines

These engines are equipped with high pressure rails of fuel and oil (common rail) and electronic control.

Electronically controlled ME/ME-C engines

The essence of the engines from this group is based on automatic and hydraulic system of fuel injection activation and on the control of exhaust valves.

In 1956, a licence to build marine engines was purchased from Sulzer Brother Ltd., Switzerland (currently, Wärtsilä Switzerland Ltd.). In 1959, a similar licence was acquired from Burmeister & Wain, Denmark (currently, MAN Diesel A/S). The last steam engine (Ty 51) was delivered in 1958. Since then, more than 1,350 marine engines have been made at the Diesel Engines Factory HCP S.A. The L/S-MC, L/S-MC-C and RTA-U/B, RTA-T/B series have been especially appreciated in recent years.

Advantages of the produced engines:

All engines delivered by the Diesel Engines Factory HCP S.A. comply with the requirements of International Convention for Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), the requirements of IACS Classification Societies, and the IMO NOx emission requirements. The engines manufactured under either of the above-mentioned licences can be delivered with electronic fuel injection control. This solution provides a high-precision control of the engine's main operating variables to achieve the best performance characteristics, with optimised exhaust emissions, fuel consumptions and times between overhauls.

Our manufacturing programme includes main propulsion engines made under licence from MAN Diesel A/S (1760-30000 kW) and Wärtsilä Switzerland Ltd. (4750-30000 kW).
